Virtual Attendance Process

This class can be taken VIRTUALLY with Stockbridge DUI Academy from any CITY, STATE OR COUNTY of your location.

Virtual attendance is NOT online. It is Instructor-led with student participation.

The Defensive Driving Class is taken for the following reason(s):

  • Court Ordered

  • Reinstatement

  • Points Reduction

  • Insurance Discount

  • Fine Reduction

  • Ticket Dismissal

  • Under 18/21 Violation

Defensive Driving Class Information

This is a Georgia state approved class. The educational program is GARDE.

  • 6-hour class (an hour added for lunch)

  • 1 day

  • Class can be taken Virtually or In-Person (Please review the process)

  • $95.00 (state mandated fee), $50.00 for Insurance Discount

If you are taking this class to fulfill the requirements of another state, please make sure the state of Georgia program requirement is acceptable in that state prior to signing up and paying for the course. You can locate information for your state requirements on the Georgia DDS website (dds.georgia.gov/dui-school-guidelines-other-states).

6-hour class

  • The requirement of completing this course is 6-hours.

  • After completion, you will receive a certificate of completion.

  • To receive your certificate of completion, you must complete the 6-hours.

1-day class

  • The program schedule is for one day throughout the week (Tuesday, Thursday or Friday)

  • You must attend the class on the scheduled day/time to complete the class.

  • An hour lunch is added to the 6-hour day.

Virtually or In-Person

  • Virtual classes are instructor lead with student participation

  • In-Person you will attend the class at the school location

$95.00

  • The cost of the class is $95.00 (State mandated fee)

  • The cost is $50.00 If taking the class for insurance discount

You will receive your certificate of completion at the end of the class.

There is a quiz on the last day of the program. You will receive your certificate of completion at the end of the class. If the class is taken virtually, you will receive your certificate of completion via email.

Defensive Driving

Classes Offered:

Tuesdays (10 AM - 5 PM)

Thursdays (10 AM - 5 PM)

Fridays (9 AM - 4 PM)

The Last Saturday of Each Month (9 AM - 4 PM)

Each class is 6 hours plus an hour for lunch. The cost of the class is $95.00 

In-Person Defensive Driving Attendance

In-Person Defensive Driving Attendance Process

  • Enroll and make payment

  • You will receive, via email, a Defensive Driving Contract to be signed

    • If you prefer to complete and sign your contract in-person manually

      • Give us a call (404.223.2384)

    • We will schedule a time convenient for you to come into the office

      • On the scheduled date/time you will complete and sign your contract.

You will Attend the class at the school location according to the scheduled class of your choosing (see contract)

Virtual Defensive Driving Attendance

Virtual Classes are NOT Online Classes

Virtual Classes are Instructor-led with student participation. There is a start and end time to Virtual Classes based on the scheduled class.

Virtual Defensive Driving Attendance Process

  • Enroll and make payment

  • You will receive, via email, a Defensive Driving Contract to be signed

  • After signing the contract, you will receive the following, to you preferred method of contact (email/phone):

    • a link to log-in to the scheduled virtual class

    • a copy of the virtual class guidelines

    • and a worksheet to utilize during the class

  • You will log-in to Attend the class virtually according to the scheduled class of your choosing (see contract)
